PAVING NORTH FIFTH

Word reached LaGrange early in the week that the county board would take up the question of paving Wolf road or North Fifth avenue Thursday afternoon.  Accordingly the village boards of both LaGrange and LaGrange Park were represented.  The Civic Club and the Business Men's association Thursday afternoon to urge the paving of North Fifth avenue.

The paving of this important road would mean a new bridge across Salt creek which is very much needed and it is hoped the board will decide to order improvement for spring.

(Note: Fifth Avenue is now LaGrange Road/Mannheim Road.
